Woman injured in truck mishap A 57-year-old Central Point woman was airlifted to a local hospital Sunday after she was caught under the wheels of her pickup at Howard Prairie Lake Resort. Jean Savage was helicoptered by Mercy Flights Air Ambulance to Providence Medford Medical Center where she was treated and released after the 2:15 p.m. accident. Savages 1997 Dodge Ram truck rolled over her after she stopped to investigate a noise in the bed of the vehicle. She told Jackson County Sheriffs deputies she walked around to the rear of the truck when it began to roll backwards. Savage got into the cab and grabbed the gear shift, but not before the front right tire caught her leg, dragging her underneath. The truck came to rest in a ditch.   Obituaries | Sports | Business | Classifieds |  Tempo | Prime Times | So Oregon Sites | Outdoor Journal | Subscribe | Contact | Movies | Advertise | Real Estate Showcase | Archive  | Editorials | Letters to the editor | Religion | Wake-up Call | NIE | Cyber Chef | Job Network | So Oregon Weather | WSJ Northwest | Forums | AP Wire | AP Money | F.A.Q. | Awards Ottaway Newspapers, Inc.
