Teens' fight leads to shooting BY JULIE SWENSEN CENTRAL POINT -- An argument between two teens Saturday left one hospitalized with a shotgun wound to the leg. The 16-year-old was taken to Rogue Valley Medical Center, where he was listed in fair condition Saturday night. The shooting happened about 3:30 p.m. at 497 Wilson Road in a trailer to the rear of the main house, Jackson County sheriff's Sgt. Rich Fogarty said. A 15-year-old, who also lived at the house, and the victim were arguing, and the 15-year-old grabbed a shotgun and shot the other boy in the upper leg. The younger boy ran across the street to a neighbor, who took the gun. The victim's brother administered first aid and someone called 911. The teens were about to be stepbrothers.
