Three Rite Aid pharmacies back open after weekend closures By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Sep 20, 2021 02:41 PM A A Three Rite Aid pharmacy locations are back to regular hours after a “temporary staffing shortage” prompted unexpected closures over the weekend. Rite Aid stores in Medford, Ashland and Phoenix were closed Saturday because of “a medical emergency and multiple call-ins,” according to an email Monday from Rite Aid spokesperson Brad Ducey. Signs posted in the stores Saturday directed customers to the nearest open store in the pharmacy chain — in Grants Pass, according to Ducey. “All affected locations are now open and have resumed normal operating hours,” Ducey’s email stated.
