Kenneth Bergman passed away March 8, 2016 at Providence Medical Center in Medford, Ore. He was born December 11, 1935 in Plainfield, N.J. He received his Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University and his Ph.D from the University of Washington. He married his wife of 37 years, Mary Ann Luster, at the George Washington's Olde Club in Alexandria, Va. on June 17, 1978. Kenneth spent his career working for many federal government agencies as a meteorologist/climatologist, retiring from NASA in 2000. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Bergman and his brother, Richard Bergman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Harold Bergman. Memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson Baroque Orchestra, PO Box 50614, Eugene, OR, 97405 in care of Dr. Margaret Gries, or the Tutunov Piano Series at SOU, 541-552-6127 .
