Medford police arrested Carlson Monday on felony charges of unlawful use of a weapon, second-degree assault, third-degree assault, attempted first-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Monday on $1 million bail. Court Appearance — Curtis Zane Parke, 34, of the 7600 block of Garrison Avenue, White City. On Tuesday, Parke made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of identity theft. He was booked in jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs —Douglas Andrew Vanert, 49, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Vanert on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft and for parole violation on a previous charge of felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail. Crime reports Burglary — Medford police took a report of a residential burglary at 2:10 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Oak Street. Items reported stolen included a black laptop computer with charger, eight small diamond rings and a high school class ring. The loss was valued at $1,350. Theft — Medford police took a report of a theft at 2:34 p.m. Monday in the 3500 block of Excel Drive. Reported stolen was cash and checks valued at $3,000.
