An Oregon State Police trooper Wednesday arrested Harlan on charges of second-degree criminal mischief, two counts of first-degree theft, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, second-degree burglary and an out-of-county warrant. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Thursday on $28,000 bail. Drugs — Cameron O'Brien Hughes, 22, of the 2000 block of Martin Drive, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Hughes on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail and released after posting bail. Theft, burglary — Corey Michael Canty, 28, no known address. An OSP trooper Thursday arrested Canty on charges of second-degree criminal mischief, two counts of first-degree theft, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, second-degree burglary and parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Theft — Alice May Parke, 25, of the 200 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Parke appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with first-degree theft and second-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance. Racketeering — Rigoberto Garcia Melendez, 35, of Ball, La. Medford police Thursday arrested Melendez on warrants charging him with racketeering and conspiracy to commit first-degree forgery. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $500,000 bail. Burglary, assault — Sara Lynn Halsey, 27, of the 1200 block of Niantic Avenue, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Halsey on charges of first-degree burglary, second-degree theft, two counts of assaulting a police officer, two counts of harassment and resisting arrest. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Thursday on $44,000 bail. Theft — Kenneth Brian Luedtke, 27, of the 200 block of Eva Way, Talent. An OSP trooper Thursday arrested Luedtke on charges of first-degree theft, second-degree criminal mischief, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree burglary. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $23,000 bail. Crime reports Theft ­-- 2900 block of Micah Circle, Medford.
