An 8-year-old Eagle Point girl missing since August has been located safe in Arizona, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reported Friday. Tabatha Clancy-Wood was found with her mother, Kelly Clancy, in a shelter in Phoenix, police said. Kelly Clancy was arrested by Phoenix police for custodial interference, a sheriff’s release said. Tabatha’s father, Adrian Wood, was expected to pick up his daughter Friday from child welfare authorities in Phoenix, the sheriff’s office said. Clancy, 46, reportedly took the child to California in August in the midst of a custody dispute. The child’s father was granted sole custody in Jackson County Circuit Court. Clancy reportedly told family she was taking the child to Southern California for a trip to an amusement park, but Clancy vacated her apartment in the 100 block of Onyx Street and left her phone behind.
