Pedestrian killed when hit by pickup A pedestrian died Sunday when he was struck by a pickup truck on Table Rock Road between Medford and White City. Police had not released the man's identity or a report on the accident when the Mail Tribune went to press. Traffic was diverted from Table Rock Road for more than an hour while investigators tried to determine how the accident happened. Troy Kelly of Medford said his brother, Ryan Kelly of White City, was driving the truck that struck the man. Troy Kelly said his brother was traveling north on Table Rock Road in his Chevy S-10 pickup when the man walked into the traffic lane. Troy Kelly said his brother told him he could not avoid hitting the man. Ryan Kelly's truck struck the pedestrian in the 6700 block of Table Rock Road, a few blocks north of the Satin Slipper Cafe and Lounge. The impact severely dented the truck's hood and left a gaping hole in the middle of the truck's windshield. Troy Kelly said his brother, 25, was uninjured. "He was moving to his new house," Troy Kelly said. "He was hauling his last load of stuff."
