Complete Care Health Center Friday Oct 28, 2016 at 4:58 PM Oct 28, 2016 at 4:58 PM Greg Stiles Mail Tribune @GregMTBusiness The owners of Ventana Wellness and Age Defying Dermatology closed the doors of their State Street clinic at the end of business Friday and will reopen Monday as Complete Integrative Care. Four medical providers will carry on at the Medford office under the umbrella of Complete Integrative Care, a sister organization of Eagle Point-based Complete Care Health Centers. Doctors Richard and Arlene Noodleman, who run a dermatology practice in Campbell, California, acquired Ventana Wellness from founder Nisha Jackson in 2015. But after little more than a year, they decided to discontinue activity in Southern Oregon. Assets of the practices were sold to Complete Care Health Centers, which established a new identity for the firm, where physician Joel Klein, physician assistants Debi Robbins and Jill Henry, and nurse practitioner Susan Preslar will work alongside newly hired nurse practitioner Andrea Giachetti. "The Noodlemans made the hard decision to close the clinics," said Complete Care Health Centers Clinic Director Emmalee Higinbotham, who had a similar role for Ventana prior to the Noodlemans' acquisition. New signs will go up this weekend, Higinbotham said. "Overall, we are really excited to adopt some phenomenal medical providers, who offer unique and life-changing services," she said. Eagle Point chiropractor Thadeus Gala founded Complete Care Health Centers 10 years ago. The firm provides chiropractic, massage, physical therapy, primary and functional medicine at its South Shasta Way office. A satellite office was opened last January in Ashland. The combined offices have a staff of about 40. Under the new model, Complete Integrative Care won't offer pain management and many dermatology services. It will, however, provide primary care, functional medicine, preventative care, annual exams, women’s health treatments, natural hormone balance, disease management and prevention, medical weight management, auto-immune disorders, thyroid health, female sexual health, gynecology and stress management. The clinic, with a staff of 18, will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. It will retain Ventana's telephone number, 541-773-9772.  — Reach reporter Greg Stiles at 541-776-4463 or [email protected].
