UPDATED: Man found dead outside Medford antique store identified Tuesday May 1, 2018 at 10:08 AM May 2, 2018 at 8:00 AM Updated 8 a.m. Wednesday: Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found outside a Medford antique store Tuesday morning. The death is not considered suspicious, and an autopsy conducted by the Jackson County medical examiner is scheduled for Wednesday. “We don’t believe at this point that foul play was involved,” said Medford police Lt. Kerry Curtis. The man, identified as 46-year-old Patrick Curnutte, was lying outside LC Antiques, 624 S. Riverside Ave. A passerby spotted the body while driving on South Central Avenue, which runs parallel to Riverside. “(The driver) saw some property kind of strewn about, and then he saw a subject lying there,” Curtis said. The driver drove around the block, checked again and “recognized (Curnutte) was probably deceased,” Curtis added. The man is “well known to law enforcement” and was using an alcove outside the antique store to sleep, said a post on the Medford police Facebook page.
