Cowdrey 1989 Carl and Phyllis Cowdrey of Medford, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary June 22, 2014, with a patio party hosted by their daughters at the home of their daughter, Linda, and her husband, Rob. About 30 family members and friends attended. Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Jul. 20, 2014 at 2:00 AM Posted Jul. 20, 2014 at 2:00 AM » Social News Carl and Phyllis Cowdrey of Medford, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary June 22, 2014, with a patio party hosted by their daughters at the home of their daughter, Linda, and her husband, Rob. About 30 family members and friends attended. Carl Cowdrey married Phyllis Cary June 30, 1989. They have four children: Sandy Blank, Dan Cowdrey, Kathy Davis and Linda Gandee; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Phyllis is originally from Henderson, Iowa, and moved to Medford in 1964. She worked as a waitress for 35 years at various Rogue Valley restaurants and worked for 10 years in food service at Providence Medford Medical Center. Carl has lived in the Rogue Valley almost all of his life. He graduated from Talent High School in 1950 and has worked in the Rogue Valley doing mill work and construction. Carl worked for Visar Construction for 30 years. Both Carl and Phyllis fully retired in 2010. They spend the warmer six months of the year in Medford, and in the winter months, they live in their home in Quartzsite, Ariz.
