THE VALLEY Pacific Sunwear opens in RV Mall Pacific Sunwear, a national retail clothing store, opened Friday in the Rogue Valley Mall. The store offers brand-name clothing lines like Quiksilver, Stussy and Billabong and is targeted at teenagers and young adults. The store is on the upper level of the mall between Sam Goody and Waldenbooks. Klamath First Bancorp reports strong earnings KLAMATH FALLS -- Klamath First Bancorp, parent company of Klamath First Federal Saving and Loan, earned $2.3 million in its fiscal second quarter, which ended March 31. The earnings were up from $2.2 million in the same quarter last year. Per share earnings were 32 cents, up from 24 cents a year ago. The company's total net loans reached a record level of $720.9 million and total deposits also reached a new high at $724.2 million. Klamath First Federal Savings and Loan has 35 offices in Oregon. New business to offer home-care service Carrie Winfrey has opened Caregiver Services Inc., a business offering home-care service in Medford. A staff of 10 provides 12- and 24-hour in-home care for patients as well as hourly and hospice services. Winfrey has worked privately in Jackson County for several years as a home-care manager and supervisor and has also worked in the mental-health field.
