Any details? — Penelope C., Ashland If you were thinking about sitting in a drugstore to be discovered, Penelope, there’s still time to make other plans. What you heard probably stems from the fact that a local production is now filming in Ashland. An indie feature titled "Raspberry Heaven" is being shot — but Hollywood it ain’t. Directed by David Oas, the picture features homegrown talent including executive producer Steve Sachs and several Oregon Shakespeare Festival actors, including Michael Elich, Robin Goodrin Nordli and Richard Elmore. The film stars a pair of California actors. It’s reportedly about people who work at a large Shakespeare festival in the Northwest. Filming is expected to continue through October.
