Spook scoop: No ghosts in Lithia Park This should be a perfect question for Halloween. Has anyone seen "Marion," the Lithia Park ghost, since the New Year's 1997 flood? -- John S., Medford Not that we know of, John. The last sighting we could catch wind of came in the 1970s. "I haven't heard of any recent sightings," says Michael O'Brien, a longtime Ashland resident and member of the Southern Oregon Historical Society. Ditto for the Ashland police. Over the years, several people have reported seeing a male spirit appearing through the trees. As the legend goes, "Marion" is a hunchbacked ghost who wanders the park.
