The three-month series focuses on the impacts of digital technology. The first talk, "Crossing Wires: Art, Science & Technology in the Digital Age," will be hosted by Southern Oregon University associate professor David Bithell at Howiee's, 16 N. Front St., Medford. Bithell will talk about how technology shapes art. Additional talks will be hosted by SOU professor Katie Pittman, who will speak about the "Big Data Revolution," Feb. 19; and by Roy Kindell and Victoria Law, who will speak about the history and impact of digital pioneers Ada Lovelace and Alan Turing. Those talks also will be held at Howiee's. All talks are free. For more information, visit www.scienceworksmuseum.org .
