Jackson County reports 63 new COVID-19 cases By Vickie Aldous By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Dec 03, 2021 04:50 PM A A Jackson County reported 63 new COVID-19 cases Friday and one additional COVID-19 related death. A 77-year-old Jackson County woman with underlying conditions died at Providence Medford Medical Center. Josephine County reported 35 COVID-19 cases Friday and the death of a 72-year-old Josephine County woman. She had underlying conditions and passed away at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford. The Oregon Health Authority reported 1,352 new COVID-19 cases Friday and 16 additional deaths for the state as a whole, including those in Jackson and Josephine counties. The others who died ranged in age from 45 to 96, according to OHA data.
