Gardening instruction for kids Apr 19, 2007 12:00 AM A A What: "Children in the Garden, the intro class." Where: Master Gardener's Spring Fair, Jackson County Expo Park. When: 2 p.m., Saturday, April 28. Cost: Fair is $2, class is free. Note: Fair is both Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. What: "Children in the Garden, the series." Where: Southern Oregon Research and Extension Center, Hanley Road between Medford and Jacksonville, on Highway 238. When: 9:30 to noon, starting June 15, then Thursdays after that, every other week for six weeks. Cost: $5 for materials. Ages: Kids 5 to 8, with older graduates able to serve as assistants. Enrollment: Two classes of 24 each on a first-come, first-served basis (classes fill early).
