Christensen appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with methamphetamine possession, second-degree theft and second-degree possession of a forged instrument. She was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Bryan Anthony Rahn, 21, of the 700 block of West Fourth Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Rahn on charges of methamphetamine possession and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Crime reports Theft — 900 block of South Valley View Road, Ashland. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Thursday took a report of a theft in which a camera, laptop computer and cash were stolen. Theft, vandalism — 1800 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report of a theft in which a laptop computer was stolen and a car was vandalized. Total damages were estimated at $1,100. Theft — 1500 block of Steelhead Run Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report of a theft in which a tailgate valued at $900 was stolen. Miscellaneous Suspicious device — Grants Pass police closed down a section of NE F Street on Thursday afternoon following the discovery of an object that resembled a bomb. The object was found in the street near a Wal-Mart store that was partially evacuated by police at about 4:40 p.m. An Oregon State Police bomb technician later evaluated the device and determined it was not explosive, police said. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to phone Grants Pass police at 474-6370.
