Jackson County reports 15 more local COVID-19 cases Thursday By Mail Tribune staff Aug 27, 2020 03:31 PM A A Jackson County Public Health reported 15 more cases of COVID-19 Thursday, bringing the local total to 762 cases, including 237 that were considered active and infectious. Sixty-four local people have been hospitalized, and two deaths from the illness have been reported. The Oregon Health Authority reported 212 new cases across the state Thursday, bringing Oregon’s total to 25,761 cases. OHA also reported five more deaths, raising the state’s death toll to 438.
