Low-cost pet vaccination, nail trims offered Jan. 21 Monday Jan 9, 2017 at 12:16 PM Jackson County Animal Services will offer a low-cost pet vaccination clinic from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at the county animal shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Highway, Phoenix. Vaccinations, given by Dr. Sharon Hopkins, will be $10 each, cash only. Vaccinations available for dogs are rabies and distemper/parvo booster; for cats, they are rabies and distemper/rhino/calici booster. Dogs are required by law to be vaccinated for rabies. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old; those who are ill, on antibiotics, in heat, or on cortisone products cannot be vaccinated. Nail trimming will be offered for $5 per pet, cash only.
