Rena was born in Tulelake, Calif. April 6, 1935. She was raised in Medford, Ore., and moved to Gladstone, Ore. in 1957 where she made her home and raised her family. Rena worked at Clackamas Community College for over 40 years and was loved by everyone who had the good fortune to meet her. She loved to dance and possessed a passion for gardening in her gorgeous yard, where she spent many peaceful hours feeding and watching the birds and squirrels. Rena is survived and dearly missed by her four children, Terri, Russ (Lorrie), Tina, and Ron (Catherine); five grandchildren, Josh (B.), Brittany, Jessica, Justine (Cody), and Brandon (Nicole); and three great-grandchildren, Elle, Max, and Lucas (almost here*). A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Gladstone Senior Center located at 1050 Portland Ave, Gladstone, Oregon 97027. In lieu of flowers, Rena’s family has requested donations be made in her honor to the Adventist Hospice Program.
