November 04. 2014 12:59PM Nominations begin for Heritage Excellence Awards Nominations for individuals, organizations and projects that have contributed to preserving Oregon's heritage are now being accepted. The Oregon Heritage Excellence Award are intended to draw public attention to important heritage efforts in Oregon and to raise the quality of heritage-oriented activities. The awards are for exceptional and commendable work with special consideration given to the development of new ideas, approaches and innovations in heritage-related activities. The deadline for nominations is Jan. 16.
