November 06. 2014 10:32AM Rogue Valley morning fog could stick around for a week Morning fog could end up being the norm for the next week, National Weather Service officials say. Today's ground clouds should depart by noon, when a front is expected to come through the area and mix up the air. The mist's sticking power is due to it just being that time of year, weather officials say. There's plenty of moisture on the ground, which evaporates during the day, then cools off and condenses down during the night. "We're getting into a pattern. It's the winter pattern," said meteorologist Brian Nieuwenhuis. "For the next week, it wouldn't surprise me if every morning we have fog. Really it's just that time of year." http://www.mailtribune.com/article/20141106/NEWS/141109767 © 2015 Copyright © 1995-2011 Crain Communications Inc. All Rights Reserved.
