The Eric McFadden Trio is a sure thing The Eric McFadden Trio is a sure cure for the winter doldrums. EMT will perform at 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, at the Jefferson State Pub. McFadden has collaborated with guitarists Joe Strummer of The Clash, Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones, Bo Diddley, Keb' Mo, and Primus frontman Les Claypool, among many others. He's teamed up with bassist James Whiton and drummer Jeff Cohen to present heavy rock with a funky edge. The trio's recent recording, "The Joy of Suffering," is called "the best and most original guitar recording of the year" by Guitar Player Magazine. Admission to the show is $7. Call 482-7718.
