Dalton to play for BYU Hawaii After a year's hiatus, former North Medford volleyball standout Lacey Dalton has decided to play at the collegiate level after all. Dalton, a Southern Oregon Conference first-team all-star in 1998, attended Brigham Young this year and chose to concentrate on her studies rather than compete athletically. This spring, however, she was awarded a full-ride scholarship by Brigham Young University-Hawaii, the reigning national Division II champion. The 5-foot-11 middle blocker will join a diverse roster that features players from three foreign countries and four states. The Seasiders marched to a record of 30-2 last season.
