Felony arrest Assault — Toby Christian Hudson, 43, of the 3800 block of Pleasant Creek Road, Rogue River. On Friday, Hudson made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of third-degree assault, and on misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released Friday on his own recognizance. Crime reports Burglary — 1900 block of Barons Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 10:57 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a generator, Dremel tool with attachments, jigsaw, Black & Decker cordless drill with extra batteries, a toolbox containing hand tools, a Bosch concrete drill, a socket set and a Coleman cooler. The loss was valued at $870. Theft — 500 block of Effie Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of two stolen birth certificates at 11:01 a.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $50. Vandalism — 1400 block of Avalon Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a window caused by an airsoft gun at 3:16 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $400. Theft — 100 block of Seroba Circle, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 6:38 p.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included mechanic tools, furniture items, guns and several bottles of medications. The loss was valued at $8,500. Theft — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen black iPhone 7 in an orange case at 10:47 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $900. Theft — 500 block of Mae Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen black Samsung smartphone at 9:49 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $800. Theft — 200 block of Ross Lane North, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen black backpack and Samsung smartphone at 10:35 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $265. Theft — 1000 block of West Tenth Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen black Schwinn bike with a basket in the front at 11:47 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $250.
