Same question for finished marijuana products. This is such a simple question with an impact on thousands of Oregon households, but no one has addressed it or seems willing/able to do so. Rick M., Talent Well, Rick, it seems like a simple question, but it's really not. We weren't able to immediately get comment from local law enforcement as to their interpretation of the law, but from previous Mail Tribune reporting and state guidelines, the answer seems to be determined by two factors: How many patients the grower is providing for and how many people in the house are Oregon Medical Marijuana Program patients. Under the OMMP, growers can have up to six plants per patient for up to four patients, while recreational users are limited to four plants per household. The problem is, the text of ballot Measure 91 specifically refers to households regarding both plants and possession of finished marijuana, while OMMP's guidelines are written in terms of patients and registered grow sites.
