The Shouters at Howiee's Apr 16, 2013 12:00 AM A A Broadway Phil and The Shouters — with drummer David Mathieu, bass player Gary Davis, guitarists Dave Day and Jake Thompson and Phil Newton on harmonica — will host the Ashland Blues Society's open jam at 6:30 p.m. tonight, April 16, at Howiee's, 16 N. Front St., Medford. The Shouters have sat in with some of the best in the blues biz, including Huey Lewis, Dave Mason, Curtis Salgado, Lloyd Jones and others, and have recorded three albums: "Rock Bottom" (1996), "Rhythm and Dues" (2002) and "Shout Back" (2008).
