Emergency services, March 19 Sunday Mar 18, 2018 at 2:00 AM Mar 18, 2018 at 9:01 PM Felony arrests Sexual Abuse — Randy Allan Jans, 59, of the 2400 block of N. Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested Jans on felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse and attempted first-degree sodomy, as well as a misdemeanor sexual abuse count. He was lodged in the Jackson County jail on $265,000 bail. Fugitive — Jacqueline Nicole Nichols, 32, no known address. Ashland police arrested Nichols on a fugitive warrant from California. She was lodged in the jail without bail. Assault — Randall Keith Stevens, Jr., 48, of the 1200 block of Far West Avenue, Central Point. Medford police arrested Stevens, Jr. on a felony assault count and misdemeanor counts of assault, strangulation and harassment. He was lodged in the jail on $22,500 bail. Crime report Theft — the 1600 block of Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of two stolen BMX bicycles: one was a dark gray with red spots GT performer, and the other a light gray eastern BMX bike with green rims. The loss was valued at $850. Theft — 1400 block of Yucca Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen silver iPad from a motor vehicle at 8:11 p.m. Saturday. The loss was valued at $1,100.
