There will be no early sales. Proceeds go to the Cascade Christian volleyball program. Oregon Tech chooses Schell as full-time AD KLAMATH FALLS — Michael Schell has been named athletic director at Oregon Institute of Technology. Dr. William Nettles, vice president for finance and administration, made the announcement. Schell has been involved with the OIT athletics department since 1992 and has been interim athletic director for two years. He is also president of the Cascade Collegiate Conference Athletic Directors. Advertisement "Mike has done an excellent job of managing OIT’s growing intercollegiate athletics program," Nettles said. "His leadership emphasizes the strengths of the Owls’ athletic excellence, academic scholarship and sportsmanship." Schell was the 1998-99 recipient of the president’s staff award that is presented for outstanding contributions to OIT. He graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Science degree in electronics engineering technology from OIT in 1995. Central Point Pop Warner slates final signup June 17 Final registration for Central Point Pop Warner football will be at 7 p.m. on June 17 at Scenic Middle School.
