Y2K task force will present class on medical situations The Rogue Valley Y2K Task Force on Saturday will host "From Injuries to Mending," a presentation on how to deal with emergency medical situations. The session is from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Fireside Room of First Baptist Church, 649 Crater Lake Ave. in Medford. Emergency medical technician Rocky Cowie will be keynote speaker. Using an actual case history, Cowie will take participants through several injury scenarios from minor wounds to more serious injuries. Participants will learn basic CPR, psychological preparation, identifying and prioritizing injuries and figuring out the best treatment. Several other speakers are also scheduled to attend.
