Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend November 6, 2005 Emergency Services Felony arrests Drugs — Deborah Ann Tenney, 49, 8500 block of Pepperridge Lane, Yelm, Wash. An Oregon State Police trooper Saturday arrested Tenney on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where she remained late Saturday on $5,000 bail. Fire calls Chimney fire — Wilson Road, Ashland. Jackson County Fire District No. 5 responded to a chimney fire in an older home about 2:20 a.m. Saturday. The quickly extinguished fire cracked the flue and caused light smoke damage throughout the house, firefighters said. Miscellaneous reports Road hazard — Milepost 15, Highway 238. A caller reported a dead bear blocking the roadway several miles from the Jackson-Josephine county line. An Oregon State Police trooper responded to move the dead animal to the side of the road and notified Oregon Department of Transportation crews to remove it.
