Ducks return to regional tourney EUGENE -- The No. 19th-ranked University of Oregon softball team (39-27) received an at-large bid on Sunday to participate in the NCAA Softball Regional Tournament for the second-straight year. The Ducks, seeded fourth, will travel to Chicago, Ill. to face off with No. 10 ranked and third-seeded Illinois-Chicago (64-15) at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Forty-eight teams will be competing in the double-elimination regional tournament, with the top eight teams advancing to the Women's College World Series May 27-31 in Oaklahoma City, Okla.
