Carl James Stokes Apr 03, 2016 12:00 AM A A Carl James (Jim) Stokes, 94, passed away March 30, 2016, in Sandy, Utah. Jim called the Rogue Valley his home for 40 years. He lived on the Rogue River and was an avid fisherman. Jim served as the Bishop in the Central Point II Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for six years. He served in the Army Air Corp. during WWII. Funeral services will be held April 9, 2016, 1:00 p.m., at the LDS Church in Eagle Point, Ore. Friends can join for a Celebration of Life, 11:30 a.m., at the church prior to the service. Arrangements by Abbey Funeral, Medford, Ore.
