She was born April 18, 2000 to us, Susan and Bob Holt in Medford, Ore. Our beautiful daughter, Grace, embraced life with a passion for all creatures and the outdoors. Spontaneous, and creative in art and the kitchen, Grace carried the spirit of her grandmothers. She was generous with her love and enthusiasm for family and friends, and equally loved and cherished by all. She later helped her parents welcome Jill Rosie, and became a steadfast and loving older sister. The joys of Grace’s life were animals, nature, cooking, gardening, reading, Pinterest, and friends. Her energy and happiness was evident in her beautiful smile and laughing eyes. Her dream was to teach elementary school, live in a farmhouse with a creek running through it, and raise goats, chickens, and horses. Her family will remember fondly the numerous kittens, chickens, turkey, and other animals that Grace routinely rescued and nurtured. She will live forever in our hearts as a loving daughter, devoted older sister and adored granddaughter, niece, and friend. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Bethel Church, 4245 Vista Point Drive, Medford, OR.
