She's a very consistent golfer for us, said first-year North Medford coach Tim Sam. She's so highly motivated. I've gone out in the off-season and seen her practicing her putting and hitting balls. There's not much instruction that needs to go towards her. Grants Pass took first overall with a team score of 364. Roseburg finished second at 371 and South Medford third with a 386. North ended up fourth with a 426. The Cavers' Johnna Nealy finished seven strokes behind Kinney with a 78, and South's Abby Fowler took third with an 81. South Medford and Klamath Union tied for fifth with a 336. Roseburg's Jason Gaston and Grants Pass' Joey Rosskecht tied with Klamath Union's Mark Paulsen with a 77 for second-place honors.
