The Herald and News reports that 60-year-old James Harold Forshee II says Klamath County Jail started giving him less food after he became a Muslim in August 2014. He also says he was only given peanut butter as a protein alternative to pork and claims kitchen management hates him for being Muslim. According to Forshee, he has lost 125 pounds and depended on fellow inmates to provide extra food. Forshee has been in jail since April 2014 and will stand trial in July. Police say he shot and killed his supervisor, Emery Wade Connor.
