CRIME Drug conspirators from November raid still at large Comment By Mark Freeman Mail Tribune Follow @@MTwriterFreeman MailTribune.com By Mark Freeman Mail Tribune Follow @@MTwriterFreeman Posted Jan. 25, 2016 at 5:56 PM Updated Jan 25, 2016 at 6:20 PM By Mark Freeman Mail Tribune Follow @@MTwriterFreeman Posted Jan. 25, 2016 at 5:56 PM Updated Jan 25, 2016 at 6:20 PM » Social News Medford drug investigators are looking for the public's help in finding the last two of five people suspected of operating a southwest Medford drug house where police found a cache of drugs and guns during a November raid, authorities said. Members of the Medford Area Drug & Gang Enforcement team believe 27-year-old Uriel Zavala-Luna and 45-year-old Martha Figueroa-Zavala are the final two co-conspirators who were operating the drug house in the 1300 block of Dixie Lane near South Medford High School. Following a six-month investigation, MADGE investigators raided the residence and discovered 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, three ounces of cocaine, more than 8 pounds of marijuana, 15 marijuana plants, a 50-caliber rifle, three AR-15 semiautomatic rifles and more than $8,000 in cash, MADGE officials said. Three suspects were arrested at the time, and investigators kept quiet about the raid in hopes of flushing out any other potential co-conspirators, but none were identified, MADGE Lt. Kevin Walruff said. "These are the last ones," Walruff said. "So now it's time to wrap this up." Walruff said investigators don't know whether the two have left the area. While the house was near the high school, there was no indication that the alleged co-conspirators were selling to students, Walruff said. Zavala-Luna and Figueroa-Zavala each have warrants out for their arrest on charges of unlawful possession, manufacture and distribution of methamphetamine and cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school and first-degree child neglect. Already indicted on drug charges in the case were 23-year-old Leonardo Patrida-Zavala, 47-year-old Martin Figueroa-Quiroz and 24-year-old Michelle Zavala. Zavala was lodged Nov. 5 at the Jackson County Jail and later released, while Figueroa-Quiroz remains jailed on $1 million bail and Patrida-Zavala remains jailed on $500,000 bail, jail records show. Anyone with information on the case is urged to call the MADGE tip line at 541-618-1847. Reach reporter Mark Freeman at 541-776-4470 or [email protected] .
