The trees were to be auctioned off Wednesday night during a black-tie gala. The festival continues tonight with a holiday party from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Armory, 1701 S. Pacific Highway. Cost is $50 and includes hors d'oeuvres by local restaurants, beer and wine. The general public can view the trees Friday through Sunday for $5 ($3 for seniors 60 and older and children 2 to 12). Proceeds this year benefit Providence's new interventional recovery unit, which streamlines care for patients undergoing complex heart and vascular procedures.
