MEDFORD Police seek hit-and-run driver that injured pedestrian in Medford Comment By Local report MailTribune.com By Local report Posted May. 22, 2016 at 4:24 PM By Local report Posted May. 22, 2016 at 4:24 PM » Social News Medford Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning that sent one person to the hospital. Police say a white "box style" sedan, similar to a BMW, with tinted windows was traveling northbound on Crater Lake Highway near Cardinal Avenue at high speed when it attempted to pass a pickup truck on the right shoulder. The white sedan and truck collided and the sedan continued on the right shoulder, striking a pedestrian. Police said the suspect vehicle sped off northbound on Crater Lake Highway. Medford police responded at approximately 1:15 a.m. Several officers checked the area and the suspect vehicle was not located. Police said the vehicle should have heavy front-end damage on the driver’s side. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his head and leg. The driver and passenger of the pickup truck were not injured. Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact Medford police.
