Janet Eloise Goodrich Sunday Oct 2, 2016 at 2:00 AM Janet Eloise Goodrich, 85, of Central Point, Ore. passed away September 18, 2016 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. She was born June 17, 1931 in Kansas City, Mo., daughter of Albert and Edith Euwer. She spent most of her formative years in Topeka, Kans. Janet attended Park College in Parkhill, Mo. for one year and graduated with a teaching degree in business from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Colo., (CSCE) in 1954. She was a member of a social sorority. She taught school in Nebraska, Alaska, and Oregon and taught typing for 11 years with Adult Education in Medford and Central Point. She loved to travel and spent three months with a friend traveling to central Europe. Janet married Robert Goodrich July 1959. They enjoyed traveling and cruising around the world. Janet was a long-time member of Eastwood Baptist Church and enjoyed helping in the church nursery and the library. She enjoyed quilting, needle point, sewing, and crafts. Janet is survived by her children, sons, Eric Goodrich, and Dan (Ginger) Goodrich and daughters, Chris Jones, and Karen Goodrich; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Robert L. Goodrich. At Janet’s request, no services will be held at this time. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Eagle Point National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Janet’s honor to the Eastwood Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
