Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend April 16, 2006 Repaving work will delay Biddle traffic The bumpy ride on Biddle Road through the Highway 62 construction zone will soon get a lot smoother. But not before a very bumpy ride over the next two weeks. The Oregon Department of Transportation is urging drivers to find alternate routes for Biddle Road near the north Medford interchange for the next two weeks beginning Monday. Biddle Road will be narrowed to a single lane in each direction. Heavy traffic congestion and delays are expected as crews grind and pave the roadway and pour new concrete medians. Work will continue through the evenings and weekends to complete final work on Biddle Road as part of the $36 million north Medford interchange project. Flaggers will direct traffic throughout the work zone, including at business driveways. For more road construction information, see page 3B.
