Medford woman jailed on neglect charges Tisha Watson Thursday Jan 25, 2018 at 4:20 PM Jan 25, 2018 at 4:20 PM Vickie Aldous Mail Tribune @VickieAldous A Medford woman has been jailed on child neglect charges after her two children, one of whom is a toddler, reportedly put drug needles in their mouths while they were left with strangers in a motel room. Tisha Kaline Watson, 39, of the 2500 block of Ashwood Court in Medford is being held on $50,000 bail in the Jackson County Jail with a condition that she not be released due to overcrowding. She faces two counts of misdemeanor second-degree child neglect. Watson allegedly allowed a stranger to take her two children Jan. 11, according to an affidavit filed by Medford police. "Watson admitted the kids put needles in their mouth(s) and possibly ingested an unknown drug," the affidavit alleged. The affidavit said she appeared to be under the influence and unable to provide for her kids. According to an indictment, Watson unlawfully and with criminal negligence left her children unattended with unknown people in a motel room for a period of time that was likely to endanger their health or welfare. The affidavit lists the address of the incident as 1034 and 1036 Court Street in downtown Medford. The address of the Valli Hai Motel is 1034 Court St. Watson has a pre-trial conference scheduled in Jackson County Circuit Court Feb. 12, court records show.
