I understand the city owns the required property, but nothing is happening. What gives? — R. Cecilian, Medford Your friends at the Medford Public Works Department are all over this one. According to Public Works Director Cory Crebbin, it was going to be realigned in the mid- to late-1990s, but then the folks on Lone Pine Road asked that their street improvement project take priority, so Springbrook got bumped. It’s still on the list, though. Advertisement In fact, it’s on the medium-range list of the city’s Transportation System Plan, meaning it’s scheduled to be done between 2009 and 2013. The city owns and rents out two houses on the corner of Springbrook and Delta Waters. The homes will be removed when the time comes, he said.
