Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend August 14, 2005 Emergency Services Felony arrests Drugs — Mark Allen Atkins, 29, of the 400 block of South Columbus Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Friday arrested Atkins on charges of possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail without bail. Drugs, contraband — Eder Salvador-Benitez, 23, of the 600 block of Jasper Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Friday arrested Salvador-Benitez on charges of possession of methamphetamine, supplying contraband and failure to appear in court. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $15,000 bail. Criminal mischief — Oscar Espinoza, 29, of the first block of Bigham Street, Central Point. A Medford police officer Friday arrested Espinoza on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. He was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Drugs — Joshua Richard Doyle, 26, no known address. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Doyle on charges of possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Theft, drugs, forgery — Rebekka May Hogan, 30, of the 2700 block of Hawaii Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Hogan on two counts of first-degree theft, four counts of possession of methamphetamine, first-degree forgery and a probation violation. She was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Elaina Marie Simon, 37, of the 900 block of Beall Lane, Central Point. A Central Point police officer Saturday arrested Simon on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a tranquilizer and a probation violation. She was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Crime reports Vehicle theft — 500 block of Grape Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday took a report in which a 2000 GMC Jimmy was stolen. The value of the vehicle is unknown. Vehicle theft — 3900 block of Bellinger Lane, Medford. A sheriff’s deputy Saturday took a report in which two Suzuki all-terrain vehicles were stolen. The vehicles were valued at $6,000 and $2,500.
