Dead man was Ashland resident, police say Body was found near Hersey Street on Thursday By Ian Hand for the Mail Tribune MailTribune.com By Ian Hand for the Mail Tribune Posted Oct. 6, 2014 @ 4:02 pm Updated Oct 6, 2014 at 4:11 PM By Ian Hand for the Mail Tribune Posted Oct. 6, 2014 @ 4:02 pm Updated Oct 6, 2014 at 4:11 PM » Social News Ashland police have identified a deceased man found near Hersey Street last week as 29-year-old Isaac Brann-Linsday.  Brann-Linsday's body was found a short distance from the railroad tracks at the rear of 255 Hersey St. at about 6:25 p.m. Thursday,  Oct. 2 .  Ashland detectives and the Jackson County Medical Examiner report that the death was not suspicious in nature.  Brann-Linsday worked until recently as an operations assistant at the Ashland Emergency Food Bank, where his mother, Izzy Brann, is a volunteer, the food bank said in a post on its Facebook page. The cause of death is pending results from toxicology tests, which could take two months, investigators said.
