Triple-digit temperatures expected to return this week Aug 25, 2014 12:00 AM A A Temperatures are expected to shoot back up to scorching proportions this week, following a brief, cooler reprieve. The National Weather Service reported Medford will crack the 100-degree mark Tuesday. On Wednesday, the mercury is expected to climb to 103. Temperatures are expected to fall into the high 90s Thursday and Friday. The warmup will be because of a high pressure front along the West Coast this week, meteorologists said. — Ryan Pfeil
