Dane Gola Collins Saturday Oct 22, 2016 at 2:00 AM May 29, 1959 - October 13, 2016 Dane Gola Collins, 57, formerly of Medford, Ore. passed away October 13, 2016, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born May 29, 1959, at Tyndall AFB, Panama City, Fla., the fourth son of Gola "Pete" and Kathryn Collins. Dane received his GED from Medford High School and worked as a forklift operator for fruit-packing companies in the Medford area. He spent the last 34 years with the love of his life, Genevieve Smith. He is survived by his wife, Genevieve; sister, Donna Barnes; brothers Tom, David, and twin, Dean; son, Thomas Cox; step-sons, Gary, David, and Keith Smith; step-daughters, Angela Turkington and Cinnamon Eck; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tracy. No services are planned.
