Pop-up deli offers sandwiches, Hanukkah items Tuesday Dec 27, 2016 at 3:50 PM Dec 27, 2016 at 3:50 PM Local report The Chabad Jewish Center of Southern Oregon is inviting the public to celebrate Hanukkah with families and friends at a Jewish deli that will be open two nights only, from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, at the center at 1474 Siskiyou Blvd. (the old Starbucks location across from Market of Choice). Pastrami and corned beef sandwiches, side dishes, latkes and doughnuts will be available for sale. A menorah will be lit, dreidel games will be played, and Hanukkah music will be performed.  A Hanukkah gift shop will be open as well, offering items including candles, menorahs, dreidels, chocolate Hanukkah gelt and other Judaica items. “We wanted to create a space where people can socialize over Jewish kosher food, make new friends, have fun," says Faigy Zwiebel, director of the Chabad Jewish Center.
