AHS grad Bailey claims national wrestling title By Staff reports Mar 18, 2015 12:00 AM A A Ashland High 2014 graduate Sadie Bailey won a national title in her weight class and helped the Southwestern Oregon Community College women's wrestling team secure its fourth straight NCWWA team title in Allen, Texas on Monday. Bailey, who won a state title as an AHS senior, dominated Avery Souders of North Texas, 17-6, to claim the 130-pound individual title. SWOCC claimed national titles in five of nine weight classes and had a runner-up in three others to rack up a NCWWA-record 128 points. Second-place Ottawa (Kan.) tallied 98.
